This course is designed for couples who are engaged or planning to get married soon.
People prepare and plan for many things in life such as education, career, retirement and even holidays. Most of us likely spend up to 300 hours planning our wedding, but very little time, if any, planning for married life.
Our Bible-based Preparing for Marriage Course takes you through several weeks of preparation for marriage, which can make all the difference in the years to come in your marriage journey.
This course is designed for couples who are engaged or considering marriage.
Our Preparing for Marriage Course includes the following:
6 ONLINE Sessions. The course takes place over 6 Tuesday evenings (5 Online Study Sessions and an Online Graduation at the end of the course). Class session starts at 8pm and finishes by 9.30pm.
Five Online Study Sessions cover the following:
- Definition and Purpose of Marriage
- Roles & Responsibilities of Husband and Wife
- Communication
- Intimacy
- Finances
Individual Mentoring. Each enrolled couple will be paired to a married couple who will give personalised sessions and guidance on some homework or lessons, as well as encourage you with their life lessons. This course is also a good time to meet other engaged couples, foster new relationships and build community.
Note : it is mandatory for you to complete this course if you are planning to register your marriage in Singapore with an officiating pastor from Every Nation Church Singapore to solemnise your marriage.
